Director - Head of SA
David is the State Manager and Director of the Project & Development Services department of Cushman & Wakefield in South Australia. He has circa 17 years’ experience within the construction industry and originally trained as a Building Surveyor but predominantly experienced in commercial Project and Construction Management roles.
David has grown the SA business from a single resource to now 6 staff in Adelaide with links to other core services Cushman & Wakefield offer on a national and global basis. David has worked on a number of projects, both in the public and private sectors involving healthcare, retail, government, local council, arts & culture, residential, aviation, aged care, social housing, commercial office, plus more.
He is a clear communicator who can engage with a broad spectrum of clients, consultants, contractors and stakeholders has developed key attributes to project delivery and management and excels in his ability to work with, coordinate and manage teams effectively whilst offering a refreshing and dynamic attitude in his dealings, and a practical attitude to the delivery of service. David has extensive experience from front end briefing and feasibility which assists client’s in how to approach a particular project or a strategy which draws on excellent procurement experience and programming complex requirements into a simplistic process for consultants and contractors to follow.
In addition, David has been involved in building surveys, planned maintenance, due diligence exercises, feasibility, funding processes, design, programming, procurement, on site management through to practical completion and closing out a number of projects, to a very high standard.
