Roles & Responsibilities
Charles has 30 years experience in the real estate industry, with over 26 years in commercial real estate sales. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Charles was employed for a total of 19 years with Burgess Rawson, Jones Lang LaSalle and Knight Frank, and held senior director positions with the companies. Whilst Charles has a broad range of experience including commercial, retail, industrial investments, vacant possession properties, tourism and leisure properties, development sites, his experience further developed over recent years in the Aged Care/ retirement village and Child care sector. Charles is also well recognised for coordinating some of the major NSW portfolio sales including:
ANZ: on behalf of ANZ Bank Limited national retail portfolio with 13 in NSW with a total value of $17.2 million.
St George: on behalf of St George Bank Limited retail portfolio of 10 NSW, Vic and Qld properties, with a total value of $18.7 million.
TAB: on behalf of TAB Limited all NSW retail properties total of 96 with a total value of $53 million.
Westpac: on behalf of Westpac Banking Corporation, 10 retail branches in Sydney with a total value of $18 million.
As well as a number of private portfolios including:
Austock (Australian Education Trust) 43 child care centres and 18 child care development sites.
FORUM, St. Leonards 6 retail property portfolio on behalf of Winten Property Group.
Wellington Premium Fund portfolio.
Australand commercial/retail strata portfolio in Sydney metropolitan locations.

- Kellogg – Frenchs Forest manufacturing facility - $6.2 million
- Gilbarco National industrial portfolio.
Charles has also been involved in providing real estate advice to insolvency practitioners, major banks and financial institutions over the past 20 years on problem loans. Charles has worked with, ANZ bank, St. George Bank, Commonwealth Bank, Bankwest, KPMG, Grant Thornton, Hall Chadwick, Ernst & Young, Rodgers Reidy, Moore Stephens, Jones Partners, PWC, McGrathNicol, Worrells and Bentleys.
