With a total of 18 years’ experience in the construction industry, including 10 years dedicated to project management, Amy chose a career in project management based on her passion for developing strong, trusting relationships and her desire to deliver excellent outcomes for clients. Both a leader and team player, she has a curiosity and talent for refining program and processes; having worked on multiple rollout projects for blue chip clients, and her strategic consulting skills have helped her develop long-lasting relationships with clients and assisted in their desire to grow and evolve over time.
Graduating with a Bachelor of Built of Environment from QUT in Brisbane, she has resided also in New York, Sydney and London before returning to Perth in 2008. She has transferred this ability to be flexible and responsive to different environments into her approach to project management; with solutions being outcome focused and tailored to her clients’ needs. She is a qualified project manager, having been a member of the UK Association of Project Management since 2003.
With her opportunity to work internationally, nationally and locally, she has delivered projects across all building sectors, including retail, commercial and education; both new build and fitout. She has also delivered projects both as a consultant project manager and internally as a client-side project manager, and in doing so has an acute awareness of the unique responsibilities of both stakeholders and consultants
